Our IT Data Engineer's responsibilities will be to:

  • Design, develop and implement data and analytics cloud-based analytics platforms (DAP) and pipelines which acquire, cleanse, transform and publish data. Assemble large, complex data sets which meets functional and non-functional business requirements. Partner with data asset managers and architects to ensure technical solution provides data which is fit for use and in line with architecture blueprints. Leverage coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components.

Job Qualifications

  • Python and SQL programming skills
  • Cloud Understanding
  • PySpark and Hive programming skills
  • Experience in implementing projects & solutions using Microsoft Azure stack
  • Previous experience or understanding of Data Models
  • English proficiency and at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer / Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business / Management Information Systems or Software Development.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with using or building CI/CD tools
  • Knowledge of SCRUM and DevOps methodologies
