Strategic leadership in programme and project planning 

As a Senior Director of Planning at JLL, you will be directly responsible for generating, leading and delivering a complex programme of project planning initiatives across multiple sectors. The role’s priorities will lie in ensuring that all programme and project schedules are aligned with JLL project deliverables and are managed to the highest standard. You will manage and mentor a number of project planners and leads to ensure they can identify and communicate project risks and mitigation strategies, including critical paths, project schedule float and slack. A key part of the role will be ensuring the project teams are identifying projet risks and developing mitigation suitable strategies, analysing the impact on programme and project schedules, and applying strategies to ensure projects remain on target.

You are an individual who sees the big picture, acts decisively and creates a collaborative planning environment. As Senior Director of Planning, you will provide leadership in translating vision into realistic schedules that long with project objectives. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to establish robust planning frameworks, including resource and cost loaded schedules. In this role you will guide project teams and re-scheduling efforts to minimize programme risk. You will also contribute to claim analysis and development by evaluating vendor or client schedule-related claims to reduce potential risk to deliverables.

You are client-focused, committed to cultivating business relationships, and adept at driving programme planning excellence to deliver tailored solutions. As Senior Director of Planning, you will not only guide scheduling strategies but also coach and mentor planners acoss wider project teams across multiple projects, so they understand the implications of decisions on project deliverables and how to effectively communicate such risks and mitigations to clients. This includes building awareness of risk impacts, leading discussions on schedule dependencies, and ensuring holistic understanding of planning in support JLL’s overall goals. You will consistently promote a culture of collaboration, high-quality planning, and accountability, ensuring JLL delivers on its promise with precision and reliability.
