Job Description
Business Development Manager – Forensic Consulting
Role Overview
Drive revenue growth and profitability by promoting forensic consulting services within the Greater Calgary, Alberta area. Build and maintain strong client relationships, cross-sell services, and collaborate with district managers and experts to execute sales strategies and client events.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a geographic sales strategy targeting independent adjusters and regional insurance carriers.
Build and nurture relationships with technical leaders, managers, and sales teams to sell all services within assigned accounts.
Partner with Major Account and Legal Market teams to service key clients.
Identify client/expert opportunities with District Managers.
Drive growth through innovative marketing, events, and Continuing Education training.
Coach expert teams on sales skills and tools.
Collaborate with Marketing to promote experts and service capabilities.
Own CRM data for assigned geography, tracking all activity.
Stay current with company policies, procedures, and training.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years in insurance sales preferred
Skills: Strategic sales, interpersonal, customer service, written/oral communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, specifically SalesForce.
Soft Skills: Teamwork, compassion, respect, integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.
Focus: Timely execution with a strong ROI mindset and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing client relationships in the assigned geography.
Membership in local insurance associations/organizations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
