The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is seeking a visionary Lead Developer – Design Systems Architect to join our Tool Development team supporting one of the lead factories in the Hitachi Group. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Architect and develop software aligned with technical standards and business needs
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate new technologies
• Analyze software behavior and define expected outcomes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to test and refine design tools
• Support and improve technical standards and material specifications
• Identify and close technology gaps to enhance product development
• Coordinate bug tracking and resolution with developers and users
• Drive innovation through optimization routines and strategic growth initiatives
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in transformer design
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (VB.Net, C#, Java, C++, or Python)
• Familiarity with relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with software lifecycle tools like Azure and GitHub
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams
