Scope:
The candidate will fulfill pivotal role in the hybrid- multi-cloud landscape and progressing platform modernization in context of Migration and transformation journey (1) infra to application level, and (2) from on premise and single cloud to multiple and hybrid cloud (3) out of the box thinking and (4) debate solutions for merits and demerits (5) Own the solutions thru various stages of approvals (6) support platform teams for infra designing for cloud and on-prem services In-depth knowledge of OpenShift container orchestration, Kubernetes, and Docker.
What you’ll do:
Lead in defining and building cloud strategy for Blue Yonder
Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure capacity and demand forecasts including day to day monitoring and tracking of cloud capacity resource management for all services
Create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation options and plans for financial excellence in the cloud
Service Now process management work with the service now developers and create the process flow.
Managing the infrastructure hosting demands and assign to the right stakeholders.
Regular interactions with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and/or customers are also part of the job.
Design and architect compute solutions in both on-prem and public cloud environment towards hybrid cloud management.
Define requirements and evaluate architectures, Various technical solutions, products, OEMs, and Partners against our technical requirements technical, Non-functional requirement such as operational resilience, scalability, reliability, performance.
What we are looking for:
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and application modernization.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for OpenShift architectures, configurations, and best practices. Provide training and support to internal teams as needed.
