Job Description 

The Brand Strategy team is dedicated to improving perception of F5 as a leading application delivery and security platform company. The team is responsible for defining the F5 narrative, shaping the brand architecture that helps customers understand our product portfolio, monitoring brand health, and driving content strategy that increases brand visibility.

As a Brand Specialist I, you’ll collaborate across internal teams in every region to ensure consistent and compelling F5 storytelling. You’ll contribute to projects that help advance F5’s reputation and brand value—from data analysis to creative storytelling and cross-functional collaboration. This dynamic entry-level role is ideal for a curious self-starter who is eager to apply their skills, contribute fresh ideas, and build trusted relationships in a purpose-driven organization.

The ideal candidate will be able to:  

  • Assist with brand health research, including survey planning and deriving key insights
  • Coordinate with other F5 teams gathering research to enhance our insights from collective data
  • Update the brand levers dashboard and brand value calculations quarterly with the latest data
  • Refresh the brand value calculations for F5 and key competitors quarterly, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage punch list to refresh assets across F5 to ensure alignment with latest narrative and style guides
  • Partner with the Creative team and the F5-GPT team to maintain brand standards, keeping resources up to date
  • Support biannual narrative reviews, offering recommendations for updates
  • Partner with the Data team to refresh credibility and telemetry stats that enhance F5 reputation
  • Bring ideas on how to consistently engage F5ers in using the latest narrative in their work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  

  • Ability to see both the big picture and pay attention to the details (e.g. brand and business strategy)  
  • Familiarity with brand concepts including brand architecture, sub-branding, and product portfolio management 
  • Basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative research
  • Knowledge of branding and positioning fundamentals 
  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills, with high attention to detail 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and levels

Qualifications 

  • 1+ year of real-world brand management or digital marketing experience  
  • Technology experience or knowledge of B2B, applications and open source is a plus 
  • Prior collaboration with creative teams/agencies or vendors is a plus  
  • Ability to listen, be nimble and adapt quickly to strategic changes  
  • Team player who can independently drive processes and tight timelines successfully  

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer.  Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate by telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time spent traveling.

The base pay range per annum for this position is: $70.400,00 - $105.600,00
