M&PE Area Manager I

As Chemical Process Engineer I, you will be responsible for:

• Executing tactical assignments through performing chemical and processing analyses while working collaboratively in the overall engineering responsibilities of M&PE. Primary areas of responsibility are the evaluation, analysis, and control of all on-site chemical manufacturing special processes.
• Providing M&PE technical participation in internal and global teams
• Performing complex engineering tasks as instructed, demonstrates engineering/scientific knowledge and logic, and communicates options to senior engineering staff to determine next steps.
• Providing M&PE support for long-term, multi-site projects under the guidance and direction of senior engineering staff. Propose and recommend process equipment solutions for operating groups

Minimum Requirement

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

Experience:

• 3 years work experience in the field of specialization (Chemical Processing, Plating, Anodizing,  or equivalent)

Applies fundamental chemical engineering principles to support process design, optimization, and troubleshooting. Demonstrates ability to interpret process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and engineering blueprints. Knowledgeable in chemical, material and energy balances, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Familiar with unit operations such as heat exchange and reaction systems. Understands basic process safety concepts and adheres to standard operating procedures. With exposure on AS9100 or ISO9001 and ISO17025 audits and accreditation.
