On top of full-service payroll, Gusto offers health insurance, 401(k)s, expert HR, and team management tools. Today, Gusto offices in Denver, San Francisco, and New York serve more than 300,000 businesses nationwide.
Our mission is to create a world where work empowers a better life, and it starts right here at Gusto. That’s why we’re committed to building a collaborative and inclusive workplace, both physically and virtually. Learn more about our Total Rewards philosophy.
About the Role:
Gusto is looking for highly skilled and motivated and experienced Data Analysts with 4+ years or more experience applying their expertise in a business environment. As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate is a skilled data storyteller with a strong analytical mindset, top-notch SQL skills, dedication to keeping data accurate and documented, an eye for data visualization design (Tableau skills preferred), and a passion for applying these skills to help small businesses thrive.
You will work closely with our Partner Growth, Finance and Engineering teams to track and investigate changes in our metrics, develop analyses that identify new levers that can unlock growth opportunities, and develop client-facing reporting that can drive a stronger thought partnership to help both sides win.
About the Team:
Gusto Embedded Payroll (“GEP”) allows us to bring our people platform to thousands more businesses than those we serve directly and will play a key role in Gusto’s growth. Learn more here and here.
As GEP has continued to expand, the need to drive data informed decisions across for ourselves and our partners has been critical. We are looking for someone who is passionate about getting deep into the mechanics of growth, both for the GEP business and in partnership with our premier clients.
