We are looking for a Client Portfolio Manager to join the team in Japan. The Client Portfolio Manager will be responsible for product management activities related to fixed income investment strategies, as well as cash management for locally domiciled funds and accounts.
Monitoring the investment performance and portfolio positioning for locally domiciled funds and accounts
Conduct a periodic performance review meeting for existing clients
Pitching strategies, proposing solutions to prospects
Conducting research and analysis on various investment strategies across the group
Translating strategy-related materials and preparing supplementary documents
Acting as a liaison with overseas investment teams to ensure effective information sharing and coordination
Managing cash positions for locally domiciled funds and accounts, including fund orders
Supporting the launch and setup of new funds and accounts, including the design of fund structures and operational workflows related to investment management
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Knowledge and experience in interest rate and credit-related investments
At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, such as fixed income investment roles at banks or insurance companies, or product management / portfolio management roles at asset management firms
Technical Skills:
Practical experience in cash management for externally delegated investment funds and accounts, including fund orders
Strong understanding of regulations, market practices, and conventions in the asset management industry, as well as broad expertise across financial products
Soft Skills:
Business-level English for daily interaction with global investment teams
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach
Experience presenting to clients and preparing investment reports
