About this role:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider; APP) in Critical Care Medicine, you will primarily work in the Cardiovascular ICU, Thoracic ICU or STICU (Medical/Surgical ICU)  at Intermountain Medical Center as an equal member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients, including acute medical, respiratory, and cardiovascular patients.
Intermountain Medical Center is the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs, and is in process of expanding. Intermountain Medical Center is ranked #1 in the United States for MI survival treatment and is a Three Star STS Cardiac Surgery Hospital.

In this role you can anticipate:
  • Practicing at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, a Level I Trauma Center
  • 12-hour shifts; including a mix of day shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • No call expectation

An ideal candidate will have previous APP Cardiovascular and/or Medical ICU experience including management of mechanical circulatory support devices.

What you’ll bring:
  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$56.76 - $87.59
