Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT

ROLE PURPOSE

The O2C Trainee will play a crucial role in supporting the Credit Management process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of credit and payment terms cases while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supporting Credit Management Team in daily activities

  • Credit limit exposure monitoring across all regions based on daily report

  • Manual credit case preparation

  • Data preparation for daily BOT run

  • Assess the credit limit level for new and existing customers by preparing analysis

  • Maintain and ensure that credit cases documentation is in place and up to date

  • Maintain and ensure that credit limits are increased in line with Global Credit Standard

  • Ensuring all targets are met, working to agreed KPI and SLA.

  • Work proactively with colleagues across the O2C department.

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance and accounting, Economy or a related field or currently studying.

  • Basic skills on MS Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing.

  • AR experience gained in an international organization would be an advantage (ideally shared services).

  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Proactive mindset and a problem-solving approach.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
