Business Transformation is a strategic leader responsible for driving large-scale finance transformation programs for global clients. This leader partners with key client stakeholders primarily Controllers and regional CFO’s —to design and deliver enterprise-wide transformation across digital platforms, Analytics, AI, Gen AI, Agentic AI etc . The role focuses on shaping multi-year transformation roadmaps, leading large teams, and owning client relationships and revenue targets. Develop transformation vision, assess vision feasibility and capability gaps, plan journey management. Translate economic trends into industry competitive advantage, transform a business to enable profitable & sustainable growth.
What are we looking for? • 15–20+ years in Finance Transformation, Strategy Consulting, or Technology-led transformation • Proven track record in delivering transformation projects that have deliver strong Business outcomes • Deep domain expertise in all the finance processes, controls, and reporting • Intelligent automation & AI for finance • Cost optimization & margin improvement initiatives • Compliance, controls, and risk management • Data strategy, governance, and data management • Strong understanding of emerging finance technologies, digital platforms, ERP suites, analytics, and automation • SAP/S4 Hana • Oracle Cloud ERP • BlackLine, High Radius, Coupa • Automation & AI/GenAI platforms • Exceptional Communication Skills and stakeholder management • Strong commercial mindset with experience leading proposals and building pipelines • Demonstrated ability to grow practices, develop teams, and build executive-level client relationships • MBA (Finance/Strategy) or equivalent from a leading institution • Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, CMA, or PMP, Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt
Roles and Responsibilities: • Spearhead end-to-end Finance & Accounting transformation initiatives across towers - Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Financial planning and Analysis • Act as a thought leader and evangelist for transformation solutions for clients retained and outsourced organizations, demonstrating deep expertise in best practices and emerging trends • Create customer-engaging solutions focusing on end-to-end transformation, resulting in "Future Ready" Operations that optimize close cycles, Working Capital, Efficiency and Enhanced user Experience • Accelerate the journey to digital, data-driven, intelligent operations by integrating innovative digital technologies (e.g., RPA, AI/ML, process mining), advanced analytics, and industry expertise • Draw data and insights from client engagements, industry benchmarks, and process expertise to identify transformation opportunities and build compelling business cases • Engage with client senior leadership on Transformation Roadmap creation, Drive Execution and value generation • Anchor RFP responses and support detailed solution run-throughs during the sales cycle for RTR-specific engagements • Advise clients on leveraging automation (RPA, AI/ML) as a strategic enabler, including ecosystem design, governance models, RACI matrix, and integration with BPM platforms • Undertake due-diligence processes and act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders on building an ecosystem of data mining and transformation • Drive Work Orchestration through Intelligent Finance, Flexible Operating Models, and Automated & Agile Workforce • Evangelize solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams within Accenture s digital ecosystem and partners, bringing them to life through demos and innovation labs • Possess a strong understanding of commercial structures for transformation proposals and their impact on P&L
