Dow heeft een zeer interessante en uitdagende vacature voor een Elektrisch & Instrumentatie (E&I) Technician voor het supporten van diverse plants binnen onze locatie in Terneuzen, Nederland.

Als E&I Technician ben je hoofdverantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van onderhoudstaken op de meest veilige, efficiënte en effectieve wijze, zoals beschreven staat in de werk-/job-pakketten. Je werkt samen met planners, werkvoorbereiders en uitvoerders.

Hierbij zorg jij ervoor dat alle benodigde vergunningen, machines en gereedschappen beschikbaar zijn en aan de eisen voldoen. Als er zich problemen voordoen waarvoor een nieuwe werkorder nodig is, ben jij degene die de oorzaak van het probleem onderzoekt. Je overlegt met de toezichthouder / werkvoorbereider als er extra handelingen nodig blijken te zijn, en zorgt dat dit uitgevoerd wordt.

Samen met de operator controleer je of het probleem is opgelost, waarbij jij de kwaliteitscontroles uitvoert. Een duidelijke communicatie en overleg met de klant is hierbij zeer belangrijk.

Daarnaast ben je algemeen inzetbaar voor zowel preventief als correctief (reparatiewerk) onderhoud aan de elektrische installatie en standaard instrumentatie. Jij bent degene die storingen ontdekt en zelfstandig repareert.

Hierin neem je zelfstandig beslissingen ten aanzien van reparatieproblemen met minimale ondersteuning van collega teamleden. Na reparatie of controle zorg je dat het uitgevoerde werk gedocumenteerd wordt.

Naast het E&I werk wordt ook verwacht dat je meehelpt in de fabriek met klein mechanisch werk.

Kwalificaties

• Je hebt een MBO4 diploma in een technische richting OF je hebt een MBO3 diploma in een technische richting plus minimaal 3 jaar relevante werkervaring
• Bij voorkeur een opleiding in de richting Electrotechniek/ Electronica of Instrumentatie
• Kennis en ervaring met PLC is een pre
• Vloeiend in het Nederlands
• Kennis van de Engelse taal
