Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software tools used for gas turbine plant cost estimation and configuration optimization.

Cost Estimating: Apply your engineering expertise to integrate accurate cost estimating methodologies into our software.

Innovation: Continuously explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve our pricing models and software capabilities.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, cost estimators, and sales, to ensure our software meets business needs.

Domain Expertise: Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in gas turbine technology and cost estimating practices.

Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience ( 5+ year) in software development and cost estimating, preferably within the gas turbine or power generation industry.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine plant design and cost estimation principles.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Soft Skills:
• Passion for learning and growing domain expertise.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results
• Strong, proven previous leadership capabilities; leading teams (directly or indirectly) and driving change
