About the Role

  • Tailors client presentations to the unique needs of the individual account and articulates the proposals through ROI justification to shorten the sales cycle.

  • Prospects new customers, validate their needs, shape product plans and support other Sales Executives with setting up demos

  • Attains sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis

  • Possesses core knowledge across products within the sub-segment and engage Solutions Consultants where deep product expertise is required to drive to close

  • Supports developing and executing territory growth strategies

  • Seeks feedback on product usage to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Completes weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner

  • Drives strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Client Executive and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory

  • Leverages sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)

  • Understand specific customer archetypes and needs which are most prevalent within the sub-segment and territory

  • Attends sales meetings and conventions as required

  • Refer to the Role Descriptions and Career Path Progression document for specific years of experience and Education

  • Successful sales experience with proven/consistent track record of quota attainment

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in an Account Executive role with proven/consistent track record of quota attainment

  • Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus

  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques

  • Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations

  • Strong prospecting and closing skills

  • Ability to win new customers as well as cross sell/upsell existing customers

  • Strong time management and organization skills

  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation

  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude

  • Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude

  • High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethic
