For the Solutions Consultant role, we are seeking a creative and motivated member for our Insurance Solutions team who will provide product expertise to clients with a focus on presenting the value proposition of our solutions and optimizing the application of our solutions for each client’s unique use case.

What You'll Bring:

  • At least five (5) years prior working experience in the Life or P&C insurance industry with a prior background in product, customer experience, and/or consulting roles.  Direct experience working with 3rd party data solutions to enhance the customer experience is considered a plus.
  • Problem-solving, design-thinking, customer-centric mindset and demonstrated skills in evaluating situations and identifying multiple solutions.
  • Highly analytical with strong communication skills (written/verbal) to clearly and effectively convey complex terms to a diverse audience, including delivery of client presentations and presentations at industry conferences.
  • Adept in engaging various levels of seniority and roles internally within TU and externally with the client’s organization.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue and market share by using a strategic, disciplined, and focused approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

We'd love to see:

  • Proficiency with leveraging technical tools (ex. Tableau, Splunk, Power BI) and Microsoft office tools (ex. Excel, PowerPoint); Experience with sales management tools (ex. Salesforce or Miro)
  • CPCU or other insurance industry designations

Impact You'll Make:

  • Effectively present the value of TU’s insurance solutions that support the successful closure of opportunities and ensures client satisfaction.
  • Influence the achievement of annual revenue targets for target products & solutions.
  • Direct the client engagement and solutions selling approach to be a credible, integrated partnership with clients on the adoption of our products and solutions.
  • Gathers insights from clients and sales (e.g. “Voice of the Customer”) and delivers ongoing feedback to internal stakeholders, including product development and insurance vertical teams.  Plays a key role on ideating on market opportunities and direction of future product investment. 
  • Leverages internal and external data to understand the market and client-level performance; stays current on the competitive landscape, works with the product marketing group to capture and document competitor’s capabilities and future plans.
  • Develop and present thought leadership research topics for webinars, blogs, conferences, etc. that help showcase TransUnion’s unique perspectives within the insurance market
  • Supports implementation of solutions as needed to connect business needs with technical requirements, and provide technical overview of our products, functionality, system/data requirements and integration steps.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The salary range for this position is $80,845.00 - $132,600.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
