Position Summary
The Mental Health Parity Business Team is responsible for managing and responding to a variety of external Mental Health Parity requests across the Health Care Business. This could include any combination of state regulatory reporting, Department of Labor audits or proactive plan sponsor requests. As a member of this team, you will project manage the requests ensuring a quality, timely response to the requesting party. To be successful, you need to understand the resources you have available to you and know where and how to get responses to new or custom information. You will be a member of a team, but you must be able to act independently in a fast-moving environment.
This role will be responsible for ensuring parity compliance with our financial and quantitative treatment limits (QTL) requirements and requires in-depth knowledge of product and benefit design. You will also be required to apply your knowledge of tools related to product, quoting, plan set-up and legislative analysis to research and understand and identify any impacts to mental health parity compliance.
Focus on key functions related to state reporting, DOL audits and plan sponsor support to demonstrate parity compliance.

Required Qualifications
10 years of healthcare business/insurance industry experience
5-7+ years of successful project management experience
Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Superior critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to quickly grasp business concepts, objectives, and strategies
Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
Strong attention to detail
Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with or understanding of Mental Health Parity
Experience with commercial medical products, pharmacy and behavioral health benefits
Experience with interpretation and/or implementation of state and federal mandates and how they may impact medical and behavioral health benefits
Experience setting up plans, coding benefits and interpreting benefits in systems e.g. CCI, BPLV, PIPP (Plan Installation Policy and Procedure), LAT (Legislative Analysis Tool)
Experience reading and writing product and benefit rules and using tools to identify product standards e.g. AQC, CPQ, ePolicies, Product Guidance, Plan and member documents
Ability to concisely summarize large amounts of information and data
Experience communicating with customers, consultants, legal, and all levels of management
Strong written and oral skills
Collaboration and facilitation
Experience with project management fundamental skills Strong MS Office skills
We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.
Aetna Service Operations office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
