About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to develop and expand customer relationships within our Public Sector business. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys a consultative selling approach, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a long-term career within the technology industry.

As a Sales Representative, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, proactively engage customers, identify opportunities for growth, and position innovative IT solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct 20-25 outbound calls per day to assigned accounts to build relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Develop and grow existing customer accounts while uncovering new opportunities within your territory.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend IT solutions, services, and programs that deliver value and efficiency.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by educating customers on Public Sector technology trends and industry best practices.
  • Prepare, present, and manage competitive pricing proposals and quotes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendor partners, and subject matter experts to support customer success.
  • Maintain accurate account activity and pipeline management.
  • Travel occasionally (approximately 2-3 times annually) for customer meetings, industry events, and relationship-building opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to achieving goals and delivering results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling technology, IT products, software, hardware, cloud solutions, or related services.
  • Familiarity with Public Sector customers, including State & Local Government, Education, or Federal agencies.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and growing long-term business relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, operations, and support teams.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
  • Compensation Plan: Competitive base salary plus commission (70/30 base-to-variable structure)
  • Comprehensive benefits package available

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $44,500.00 - $75,600.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
