We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic ML/AI/Data Engineer Intern to join our Machine Learning Platform team, which is part of our Engineering Department. The main goal of this internship is to participate in prototyping one of the future AI projects leveraging the existing Kyriba ML Platform infrastructure. For this internship, you will work alongside our data science and engineering experts, and use a cutting-edge AI technology technical stack.

Position Type: Internship (Open to both graduates and senior students)

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Poland, Remote

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of basics in Python and experience with data manipulation (e.g. SQL, PySpark, Pandas, etc).

  • Understanding of fundamental ML concepts, including feature engineering, supervised learning, model evaluation metrics, and data preprocessing.

  • Basic experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as MLFlow, and Scikit-Learn.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and engineering mindset, as well as curiosity to solve fintech ML challenges.

  • Intermediate (at least) level of English

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Motivation to learn new technologies and tools

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical findings clearly.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in prototyping, development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models for various applications.

  • Preprocess and clean data, ensuring accuracy and quality for model training.

  • Support in implementing and testing algorithms and techniques to improve model performance.

  • Collaborate with team members to understand and support project requirements and goals.

  • Participate in all the development-related ceremonies (Pull Requests review, SCRUM activities, grooming sessions, etc)
