ServiceNOW Business Process Architect

Location: Erskine, Scotland ( will be required to be on site)

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Due to security clearance requirements candidates must hold or be eligible for DV clearance. Candidates must be UK national/British passport holder and resided in the UK for 10 years and over.

As Business Process Architect you have a lead role within an innovative team, working to define and deploy world class customer solutions using the ServiceNow platform.

With this senior position the Business Process Architect shall be a thought leader in consultation, design and delivery, specifically addressing ServiceNow as an enabler to drive organizational change and improvement.

Principally providing process and technical expertise as a consulting service to clients; you shall lead the design and delivery of ServiceNow solutions including customer engagement, user requirement definition, change management, engagement management, configuration of technical infrastructure components, business focused testing and training. You will develop and demonstrate specialized knowledge and skills in ServiceNow as an enterprise solution; specifically aligned to CMDB, CSDM, or the ITOM product set..

What does the job involve?

You will be a part of a team of ServiceNow specialists principally delivering ServiceNow solutions to a diverse client base. Providing consultative support to lead the client engagement facilitating the design and eventual delivery of the optimized service offering or desired content.

Specifically aligned to ServiceNow you shall lead workshops to demonstrate platform and application function, define client current and desired state, and finally present the proposed solution.

Building client understanding of ServiceNow functionality and presenting to a high standard of quality, including customers demonstration, story definition, testing, and supporting the wider sales and delivery functions.

Mentoring and training more junior members of the team

Producing high quality documentation and training material for the implemented solutions; training the client.

What do I need to succeed?

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in ServiceNow design and development preferably in a consulting environment. Optimally the candidate will have previously been in an architect or senior consultant position for this period working across CMDB, CSDM, or the ITOM product set.

A great understanding of Business Analysis and Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principals and procedures.

A high level of knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and a number of applications; ideally experience of platform delivery and enhancement.

You will have obtained some of the following certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator

  • Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist across a minimum of two applications

  • ITIL Foundation v3 or v4 (as a minimum)

Some ServiceNow development and scripting skills such as JavaScript, HTML and XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, AngularJS would be advantageous

Project Management and Training certification and experience would be very beneficial

You will need to have outstanding communications both written and oral, ability to present solutions to customers including CX level, and be highly focused on providing strong customer service.

Able to work as part of a team or individually to project timelines, you will need to be pro-active, creative and able to research solutions and make recommendations, willing to learn and take on new challenges.

You will need to have the ability to work from home and also to travel to client locations for meetings and workshops or work on client sites for periods where required.
