The Head of BPM CoE will have overall responsibility for the technology supporting the wider business function. This encompasses multiple systems and cross functional scrum teams whom work in a hybrid model across the UK and other geographies.


We are looking for an experienced leader in technology, the role requires full collaboration with business leaders and technology groups across our business to enable integration into our omnichannel business model and removal of the legacy systems and process.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Demonstrating experience in influencing at a senior level to build collaborative and trusted internal networks that achieve goals within the CoE.
  • Leading and developing a team if customer focused IT Professionals covering design, build and operation of BPM
  • Managing high level relationships with stakeholders and third parties
  • Identifying and assessing the impact as well as shape the approach of strategic change initiatives to deliver key transformation requirements within Financial Support.
  • Managing project implementations in major data projects

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in BPM technology delivery, preferably Appian
  • Experience of Customer Engagement Service technologies and workflows
  • Expertise and leadership in microservices architecture, cloud technologies and agile ways of working
  • Understanding of design, build and operation of real time, customer engagement technologies and capabilities.

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with short term delivery of value.
  • Demonstrable experience influencing at a senior level, which builds collaborative and trusted internal networks that achieve goals within the CoE.
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • The candidate must be a driven leader with the will to build an effective and responsive team in a dynamic and uncertain environment.



What else you need to know: 

This role is based in Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

1st Stage – Competency Interview – this will a 30-60min competency interview with one of the team 

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.
