Position Overview

Autodesk’s COE, under the Technology Vendor Management Department, is hiring a Technology Vendor Program Manager (P3) to lead the company’s technology M&A vendor integrations, participate in special initiatives, compliance and service planning activities, and to own the Technology Vendor Management Process Library (the single source of truth for SOPs, service templates, scorecards/vendor surveys, runbooks, websites, and supporting artifacts). This role drives cross-functional M&A integration workstreams into Autodesk, coordinates compliance remediation and controls and ensures the Process Library is current, discoverable, and aligned to governance. The ideal candidate combines M&A experience, vendor-management domain knowledge, strong program/project and stakeholder management skills, and the discipline in service planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead M&A vendor integrations: Own end-to-end planning and execution for technology vendor.  Requires due diligence handoffs, integration roadmaps, execution of cutovers, risk mitigation, and post-integration stabilization

  • Manage special initiatives: Drive or participation with COE special programs (tool rollouts, vendor consolidation) from definition through delivery, aligning stakeholders across Legal, IT, Security, Procurement, Product, and Business Units

  • Compliance & controls: Participate with remediation of compliance findings, manage vendor compliance lifecycle activities (assessments, attestations, evidence collection), and partner with Legal, InfoSec and Compliance to operationalize control requirements

  • Service planning & operations:   Participate and operationalize vendor initiatives and capacity planning.  Drive COE members to delivery on committed technology and/or processes

  • Process Library ownership: Serve as primary ‘steward’ for the Technology Vendor Management Process Library, maintain all SOPs, playbooks, templates, and websites; ensure version control, approvals, clear ownership, accessibility, and alignment to governance and audit requirements

  • Standards & playbooks: Develop and maintain standard integration templates, runbooks, checklist artifacts (including M&A integration playbook, onboarding/offboarding procedures, compliance checklist), and ensure training and adoption across the organization

  • Reporting & metrics: Define program KPIs and health metrics (integration velocity, compliance posture, SLA attainment, process library freshness), produce executive reports and dashboards, and surface risks and remediation plans

  • Change Management: Facilitate change management processes, coordinate review/approval cycles for SOP changes, and lead change management to ensure processes are embedded into local operations

Success criteria / KPIs

  • Timely, low-risk execution of M&A technology vendor integrations (on schedule and budget with controlled business impact)

  • High compliance posture for vendor population (measurable reduction in open findings / time to remediate)

  • Process Library completeness and freshness (SOPs current, owners assigned, reduced time-to-find for processes)

  • Improved SLA/availability and reduced incident escalations for vendor-provided services

  • Positive stakeholder satisfaction and adoption of standardized playbooks and templates

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of program or vendor management experience in technology organizations (M&A integrations strongly preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience managing technology vendor/third-party lifecycles, compliance program activities, and service planning

  • Demonstrate strong relationships with Procurement, Legal, InfoSec, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Business Unit leaders to influence and coordinate vendor-related decisions and priorities.

  • Strong project and program management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to author clear SOPs, playbooks and executive summaries/reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with M&A technology integration execution (assessing tech stacks, migration patterns, cutover planning)

  • Familiarity with privacy, security and regulatory compliance

  • Experience with process documentation tooling (Confluence, SharePoint, Atlassian suite), process/workflow automation, and content governance
