About the Role

Are you passionate about technology and want to make an impact at one of the world’s leading cloud platforms? Workday is looking for a Technology Solution Consultant to join our Solution Consulting ( ‘presales’) team in Australia. This role combines technical expertise with creativity, innovation, and communication to help our customers envision their future with Workday.

What You’ll do:
- Craft compelling presentations showcasing why Workday’s technology is fundamentally different.
- Dive deep into topics like integrations, data security, reporting & analytics, and Workday Extend.
- Lead discussions on AI/ML and Workday’s latest innovations, positioning us as a future-ready solution.
- Deliver impactful demos that bridge technology and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create technical as-is and to-be architecture designs using graphical discovery tools.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business architects, and other team members to deliver seamless presales engagements.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to functional & technical audiences while engaging confidently with C level executives. 
 

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in enterprise software technical solution consulting (“Presales”).

• 3+ years experience delivering compelling presentations in person, and via on-line meetings. 

• 3+ years experience leading discovery conversations and providing polished world-class demonstrations to C-Suite executives, business leaders and technical evaluators.

• 3+ years experience with IT landscapes and help develop current-state and future-state illustrations.

• 3+ years experience working with common cloud architectures, security, reporting, and/or integration standards.
   

Other Qualifications

• Existing knowledge of Workday application and technical architecture is beneficial, but if you have experience on legacy systems or our competitor’s systems, we’ll train you on Workday

• Experience with AI/ML concepts, tools, or frameworks and their application in business systems, automation, or analytics.

• Familiarity with low-code platforms and tools, with hands-on experience designing and deploying applications or workflows to drive business efficiency.

• App or web development experience is beneficial. Working knowledge of HTML, Javascript,  CSS, C+, Python or other is a plus.

• Experience developing or supporting Financial or HCM applications, customisations, reports, workflow, BI, integration, analytics or being involved in implementations, upgrades or re-implementations is preferred

• Knowledge of leading cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc...), 

• Familiarity with basic networking principles such as VPCs, firewalls, load balancers and related technologies

• Working knowledge of information security frameworks, security standards and guidelines is beneficial

• Familiarity with web service integration standards such as WSDL, SOAP, JSON and ability to use SFTP and UNIX through a command line interface is helpful.

• Experience with the value selling paradigm is a plus
