Job Description

As a Technical Support Engineer you will work with customers to resolve their application and product issues, which will allow them to maintain or improve their automation systems.

You will report to the Team Leader of Remote Support.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for the Rockwell Automation products to internal and external customers including end-user Operators, OEMs, Developers, System Administrators, Field Consultants, and Engineers.
  • Team member of our Visualization Software team where you will work with leading FactoryTalk OperationSuite software.
  • Create and publish knowledgebase articles,
  • Provide exceptional customer service from inception to resolution for each issue,
  • In most cases, this support will be provided by phone, Submit a Question(SAQ) or Chat Support.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems (other degrees considered based on relevance to the role).
  • Very good knowledge of the product range and applications of industrial automation in connection with software solutions and IT systems.
  • Knowledge of VMWare, (Windows Servers), Ethernet networking, HMI systems, IIS, SQL.
  • Motivated, communicative, and team-oriented personality.
  • Effectively work remotely from home or from the office without face-to-face interaction with others.
  • Soft skills of empathetic listening and patience are necessary when working with customers, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of PLCs.
