What You’ll Do 

An influential leadership role in agile structure, the Digital Experience Principal to shape the strategic direction and framework for our Telstra’s B2B digital presence. This role is pivotal in showcasing our products, solutions, and propositions, fostering meaningful engagement with our Enterprise & Government customers. This role will blend technical acumen with strategic thinking to drive digital transformation and elevate our digital footprint to be the best in market. 

 

You will leverage our new brand guidelines to position Telstra’s capabilities on our digital presence in a way that Enterprise and Government organisations can easily consume on different form factors, and where Telstra can gain and report on valuable insight gained from visitors. You will design the framework for, and deliver our content marketing strategy on T.com, while ensuring optimal customer experience. 

 

Key responsibilities will be: 

Digital strategy and vision 

  • Developing & executing a comprehensive digital strategy for Telstra Enterprise focussing on enhancing customer engagement, showcasing our capabilities, and driving growth. 

  • Defining long-term digital goals and create a roadmap to achieve them, aligning with overall company objectives 

  • Forming a cohesive market position including Telstra, Telstra Purple, our alliances and new brand acquisitions integration onto platform 

  • Analysing, evolving and growing component design library for Telstra Enterprise as required. 

Website Strategy and User Experience 

  • Architecting a strategic framework for the enterprise website that highlights our products, solutions, professional services and value propositions.  

  • Optimising customer experience in navigating information consumption and capturing user insights.  

  • Designing and implementing best practice digital customer journeys for key personas to deepen engagement with enterprise customers through digital channels. 

  • Improving lead flow from digital entry point to site, across site and to lead call.  

  • Collaborating and working directly with customers to test experiences and collate feedback, to determine opportunities to raise the overall quality of the digital experience. 

Content and Messaging 

  • Working closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure digital content aligns with strategic goals and resonates with target audiences.  

  • Developing and curate compelling, customer-centric content that effectively communicates the value and capabilities of Telstra’s Enterprise offerings.  

  • Developing strategies for content personalization and dynamic content delivery to enhance user engagement and conversion.  

  • Managing alignment to brand, regulatory and technical compliance. 

Analytics and Performance Optimisation  

  • Implementing robust analytics frameworks to track, measure, and regularly report on digital performance through monthly / quarterly insights reporting. 

  • Utilising data insights to optimise digital strategies and drive continuous improvement in engagement and conversion metrics.  

Cross-functional Collaboration:  

  • Collaborating with internal teams including Marketing (TE/TB), sales, and product management to align and prioritise digital initiatives with broader business objectives. o Engage and align with cross functional mission team members and stakeholders around the product or mission vision communicating in clear and simple terms. 

  • Working within an agile environment to translate strategic OKRs into epics, resource requests and dependencies for each quarter, working closely with Telstra Digital team to drive execution. 

  • Providing clarity for team members, by ensuring their objectives align to what they are expected to deliver, and as a servant leader, empower and support the team to execute on priorities and achieve outstanding results.  

Budget and Resource Management:  

  • Overseeing budget allocation for digital initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve strategic goals. 

  • Ensuring success of current work is showcased effectively with key stakeholders to secure ongoing funds.  

  • Managing and develop a high-performing digital team, fostering growth and capability development. 

About You 

You’re hands-on and thrive on using your excellent project management skills and deep technical knowledge to formulate, coordinate, and disseminate these programs of work and use your awesome collaboration and interpersonal skills to lead stakeholder engagement, providing the technical liaison between sponsors/stakeholders and internal groups. You’ll be an open thinker, not afraid to challenge the status quo. By providing strategic guidance to Telstra's project managers, you help drive success on our various projects, products, and other initiatives and therefore support and realise the strategic direction of Telstra. 

 

To be successful in the role, you’ll need: 

  • Extensive digital experience: website development, B2B technology experience within a telco or cloud environment 

  • Exposure to relevant domains including fixed network, mobile, cloud, collaboration etc 

  • A high level of analytical skills including strategic thinking  

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross functional collaboration abilities 

  • Technical skills in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Google Analytics, Dashboard reporting creation and Site Heat Mapping tools 

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant area or equivalent experience
