We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our Aptive team as a Regional Trainer! The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the experience and capabilities of the service professionals in their assigned service centers of the region. This is a full-time position. We have multiple EST Service Centers that this position can work from. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels at working at an individual level.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training per assigned Region, on Service Professional responsibilities, procedures, customer service principles, and the use of current software programs.

  • Provide up-skill training as required by Corporate, Directors, and Operations Managers, including Service Professional Academy certification content (in-person training and self-guided modules) for both new and existing Service Professionals.

  • Conduct field training and quality assurance, engage in on-the-job training with Service Professionals, (including modeling quality services, coaching, directing the work of Service Professionals, and completing services as needed.)

  • Provide role-play training to Service Professionals to become experts in Pest Control and customer service.

  • Provide feedback to the Director of Training on instructional materials, training agendas, and on-the-job training resources.

  • Review performance metrics to identify the development needs of Service Professionals and recommend additional training as needed.

  • Become a subject matter expert for all content and materials provided by the Learning and Development department.

  • Utilize Workday to enroll learners, assign training surrounding Service Professionals' performance needs, maintain documentation, track training attendance, and measure progress.

  • Maintain employee satisfaction and learning program feedback with courtesy and respect

  • Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.

  • Obtain all licenses needed for servicing and maintain knowledge of laws and regulations related to Pest Control.

  • Provide training for all Service Centers in the assigned Region.

  • Participate with assigned groups of Regional Trainers to develop training content for state licensing.

  • Assist with the needs of the Regional Manager of Operations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. 

  • Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with others. 

  • Ability to work within a Matrix Organization Structure. 

  • Have a working knowledge of E-Learning platforms and best practices. 

  • Ability to adapt quickly under pressure. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 

  • Ability to be accountable for a quality program and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 

  • Detail oriented

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Sigma

  • Must be able to attain all required licensing within the region for Pest Control.
