The Crisis Management & Asset Protection (CMAP) team is responsible for maintaining safety and security standards at StockX. The Asset Protection Associate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the safety and security standards within their assigned facility guided by StockX policies.

What you’ll do

  • Follow and enforce Asset Protection, Security, and Safety policies within the assigned location. 
  • Support the Asset Protection vertical by executing consistent and accurate routines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within their assigned location to foster and maintain relationships. 
  • Carry out daily security checks of the warehouse 
  • Assist with access control systems and access monitoring 
  • Support third-party security vendors with building access responsibilities. 
  • Respond promptly to alarms according to company guidelines 
  • Monitor department operations daily to identify violations and ensure adherence to company policies regarding safety, property, and personal hazards. 
  • Perform routine testing, auditing, and maintenance of security systems which include CCTV, key control, and intrusion alarm systems. 
  • Assist with the oversight of physical security measures including access control, security patrols, and CCTV surveillance. 
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

About you 

  • Minimum 1 year of Asset Protection, Fraud, Loss Prevention, or Security experience
  • Experience working with security systems: CCTV, Card Control, Alarm System(s)
  • Ability to build trust and interact in a manner that instills confidence
  • Ability to initiate action and operate proactively
  • Must be able to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Nice-to-have skills

  • Project management experience
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting strict deadlines

Working Conditions

  • The Verification Center is a warehouse environment with working conditions found in a typical warehouse setting. Closed toed and closed heel shoes are required. Team members in this environment will be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, turn, and pivot more than 75% of the time.
  • May push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds (or 23kg); on occasion a team-lift of up to 100 pounds (or 45kg) and may be required to bend, twist, kneel and squat regularly.
  • This role may require you to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like on a frequent basis depending on site location.
