Job Description:

We are seeking a multi-faceted Product Security Analyst for a critical contract role supporting a commercial cloud service provider's mission-critical systems. This position is 100% remote.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and seasoned professional with experience navigating security evaluations of products that will be deployed to a commercial cloud service provider's private cloud marketplace. This role requires a unique blend of commercial cloud awareness, security assessment and auditing skills, vulnerability reporting, security governance, and the polish to discuss these activities with commercial cloud marketplace, legal, and program management offices.

The Product Security Analyst will be directly responsible for the following key areas -

  • Conducts security evaluations of Third Party (3P) cloud and non-cloud products for consideration of posting to the commercial cloud program's private Third Party Marketplace (3PMP).

  • Updates security evaluation criteria to ensure it addresses contract language and government directives.

  • Reviews legal addendums to ensure the 3PMP onboarding security requirements are captured accurately.

  • Understands the 3PMP onboarding process and coordinates with different Google organizations and process components to introduce efficiencies.

  • Communicates with the various parties involved in the 3PMP, from the start of product security evaluation to getting the product added to the applicable catalogs.

  • Updates documentation directly or indirectly related to 3PMP, either to meet contract reporting requirements or for internal governance.

Security clearance level: Must possess a current and active Top Secret

Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Technical skills:

  • Experience conducting security evaluations of products.

  • Knowledge of the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of security requirements.

  • Ability to communicate Third Party Marketplace (3PMP) onboarding and security practices to various audiences with varying awareness and understanding of it.

Location: Remote (must reside in the CONUS)

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
