Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 5) to join our Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics (TWL) team based out of Seattle, Washington or Mesa, Arizona.

This analyst will partner cross org and functions to lead the strategy and team for TWL Analytics. They will direct and approve development designs and deploy data visualizations to assist business operations running efficiently. The successful candidate will build effective partnerships with team members, partners, leaders, and peers. They will simultaneously lead multiple data projects while partnering with our internal customers to ensure a OneBoeing approach!

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Leads teams in designing complex Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics, and reports using standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives.

  • Assesses current technology and enterprise capability to deliver immediate/short term solutions and influence long term strategy.

  • Strategically assesses complex problems with ingenuity and creativity to provide highly innovative and ingenious solutions.

  • Recognized as an expert within the company to combine programming, SQL skills, best practices, and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in business analytics

  • 5+ years of experience working with large scale data systems and analytics

  • 5+ years of experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc.) and creating metrics that matter

  • 5+ years of experience working with databases and designing databases, including SQL (Oracle, Teradata, Microsoft SQL, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Transportation Management Systems: Carrier In-Transit and Contract/Pricing Data

  • Experience in Supplier/Order Data Systems: Supplier and Order Data

  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems: Inventory Data 

  • Experience in Export Systems: Compliance Data

  • 5+ years of experience working with ETL tools like SSIS, Dataiku, Alteryx, Python, R etc.

  • 3+ years of experience working in a software development environment 

  • 7+ years of experience in a role that required outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and team skills

  

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: Seattle, Washington $136,550-$163,500

Summary pay range: Mesa, Arizona $129,200-$152,500
