IQVIA’s Integrated Health Practice (IHP) has a need for a  DevOps, reporting to the Manager of Prod Ops. This role will interact with delivery, engineering, and development teams, providing implementation support for both product and project SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions. This role will deploy solutions into the Azure Cloud using automation and CI/CD. Also, will be responsible for log analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting issues in a production environment, and participating in release deployments.
Responsibilities:
•    Build and operate HRS and DHH infrastructure. 
•    Deploy automation which reduces risk management and uphold the infrastructure of the organization. 
•    Extensive collaboration: deployment and monitoring, with the focus to enhance overall system reliability and scalability.
•    Manages day-to-day of the ticketing queue for clients ensuring completion in line with client needs/expectations.
•    Performs maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.
•    Has working knowledge of support processes and working in support environment.
•    Enforce and support a consolidation strategy for DevOps tools.
•    Align on the quality strategy.
•    Manage build infrastructure and pipelines.
•    Manage application configuration and secrets
•    Enforce and operationalize the build strategy
•    Administer an appropriate deployment pattern.
•    Administer Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
•    Manage Azure Kubernetes Service infrastructure.
•    An understanding of the Azure Cloud catalog.
•    Provide technical support for critical business systems, including incident management, problem management, and change management. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
Previous experience with the following technologies
•    GitLab CI/CD
•    Azure Kubernetes
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Log Analytics
•    Terraform
•    Application Gateway 
•    Container Registry
•    Virtual Networks
•    Blob Storage
•    Logic Apps
•    Azure App Service
•    Solid understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
•    Experience in working with incident management tools such as ServiceNow.
•    Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Like to have:

An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and release Engineering:

Familiar with various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines).
•    Continuous automating, and deployment. 
Candidate with Azure certifications would be strongly considered. Job requires time zone alignment with European and US Eastern time zones, typically afternoon and evening alignment (IST). Off hours support rotation, including periodic release and production support weekend work.
