POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to join our incredible leadership team at Covenir. This role requires a unique blend of both strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive Go-To-Market Strategy to drive customer acquisition, expand existing accounts, and achieve the organization's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will also take a direct hands-on approach to execute various marketing programs, while managing a full-service dedicated agency.

Role Details:

  • Marketing Strategy: You will work hand-in hand with the CEO, Corporate Group VP of Marketing and Sales Director to execute effective marketing strategies to build pipeline, improve win rates, close deals, increase revenue and demonstrate ROI on all Marketing generated opportunities.
  • Branding, Positioning and Messaging:  You will lead the charge in enhancing the organization's brand identity to further establish Covenir as a trusted industry leader committed to client success.
  • Pipeline Ownership: As a strategic leader, you will have a comprehensive view and ownership of the entire pipeline. Your role will involve analyzing and optimizing each stage of the customer journey to maximize conversion rates and drive revenue growth.
  • Market Assessment: You will require a deep understanding of the market and the various customer segments and service types. You are comfortable sizing the market to identify the addressable market, total relevant market and total obtainable market (TAM, TRM, TOM). You are comfortable building effective segmentation strategies to develop dedicated buyer journeys.
  • Metrics and Management: You understand how to utilize data-driven insights to optimize GTM channels, analyze performance metrics, and refine key programs to improve win rates, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity. You are metrics-driven and able to use data to display the success of marketing-generated opportunities and their conversion into closed deals.
  • Market Engagement: The role requires close collaboration with the Sales team to build a robust pipeline of opportunities and accelerate pipeline conversion through solid nurture programs. Additionally, you will lead programs that amplify the voice of our customers through impactful campaigns and defendable customer testimonials.
  • Campaign Management: You are comfortable building integrated marketing campaigns and building tailored customer journeys to drive engagement, create opportunities and convert demand into closed won deals.
  • Tech Stack Operations and Systems Management: You have a technical background in marketing operations and can demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot to orchestrate campaigns, manage workflows, and leverage the tech stack effectively.
  • Vendor and Partner Management:  You are experienced and comfortable with collaborating and managing agency partners to seamlessly execute and oversee day to day operations and programs. You will be supported by a full-scale marketing agency and will be responsible for managing the agency operations, creating multi-tiered marketing campaigns, maintaining the website, building landing pages, generating prospect lists using data tools like ZoomInfo and presenting data driven performance metrics.
  • Relationship Building:  You will be required to cultivate and foster strong relationships, particularly at the executive level, to secure buy-in and alignment across internal departments.

Qualifications:

  • This role typically requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in leading teams and partners, GTM strategy development, brand building and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and Salesforce, with direct experience in creating multi-touch campaigns.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle marketing, and demand generation in the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Deep understanding of marketing channel performance (SEO, PPC, Paid Media, social media, ABM) and a demonstrated success in driving revenue growth
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and measure marketing effectiveness tracking back to revenue and generate meaningful insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly with Sales.
  • Experience in tradeshow planning and conference management is required.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry terms and concepts, such as Carriers, MGAs, and policy administration systems is not required but certainly a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI is a plus.
