The practice offers guidance in key areas such as agentic AI infrastructure & hosting, modern cloud foundation, security and resiliency, full-stack FinOps, and cloud-native development approaches, ensuring that clients achieve agility, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. By aligning AI and cloud initiatives with business goals, the practice helps organizations realize the full potential of cloud innovation while navigating industry-specific challenges and regulations

You Are

Most Product Managers, engineers, and designers get to build software systems. Very few get to say with a straight face: “I’m reinventing banking.” Or hospitality, or logistics, or insurance. We’re combining Product, technology, industry expertise, and entrepreneurial experience to massively disrupt our clients’ core businesses. We partner with our clients to propel them into the future and to help create better products and experiences for everyone.

The work will not always be linear or well defined. Adopting new ways of working—particularly as tools and practices continue to evolve—can be uncomfortable at times. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable operating in that space, who are curious, adaptable, and willing to help shape how teams build products as the landscape changes

The Work

We’re doing this by working with leaders in the industry, across Accenture teams, and technology partnerships to help clients re-invent themselves and re-imagine their services as products.  Our Cloud Strategy team is made up of experienced professionals who bridge the divide between product and technology. We create space for our clients to collaborate, transform and grow while maintaining a focus on delivering business value through technology driven products.

  • In this role, you will partner closely with clients to design, build, release, and evolve software products and digital experiences. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and product design—helping translate strategic intent into solutions that can be built, scaled, and sustained.

  • As a Product Engineer, you will bring modern, AI-enabled approaches into the way products are conceived and delivered. This includes applying these tools and techniques across product discovery and solutioning, technical event storming, requirements definition, design, and software development. AI is part of how we work to accelerate learning, improve quality, and evolve products over time, not a separate specialty or isolated phase.

  • You will act as a connective voice between business needs, technical architecture, and the creative elements that make products usable and competitive. Leveraging established playbooks for domain modeling, detailed design and specification, and continuous delivery, you will help teams navigate ambiguity and turn complex problems into clear, actionable solutions.

  • You will collaborate with other Accenture practitioners to build and lead cross-functional teams, experiment thoughtfully, and deliver innovative solutions that meet real business needs.

Travel may be required for this role.  The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional setting within an agile team

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a product owner / business analyst- decomposing epics to write user stories and managing a backlog to business value

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in the following:

    • Designing and facilitating small scale design workshops to drive outcomes (Domain Driven Design, Event Storming, Design Thinking)

    • Refining and incorporating a Strategic Domain model, with products aligned to strategic objectives.

    • Guiding teams in translating the vision into actionable goals and features, serving as a bridge between stakeholders, designers, developers, and other team members.

    • Presenting and explaining product management, agile methodologies, and coaching techniques to stakeholders

    • Across the entire product delivery lifecycle, taking the Enterprise Domain Model as input to alignment on domain boundaries & scopes to define how functions and processes are executed against the domain model.

Bonus Point if you have

  • Experience with multiple agile and scrum frameworks (Agile, Scrum, SAFe) and software (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.)

  • Experience using Agentic AI to complete work related tasks

  • Experience defining product vision for AI-native solutions that transform core business processes

  • Experience defining success metrics for AI Products

  • Experience in innovative workshop design and facilitation

  • Experience with backlog creation for new strategic initiatives

  • Experience with Domain Driven Design

  • Familiarity with the stages and concepts of Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Experience designing modern architecture patterns including API and Event Driven Architectures

  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development/Test Driven Development, with hands-on Gherkin experience in specification documentation

  • Experience with taking product strategy and refining it through the delivery and deployment lifecycle

  • Experience with go-live and day 2 operational requirements: Ongoing operational experience is a plus

  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure; namely choosing platform components and assembling application and runtime architecture (Alternative cloud provider experience is applicable)
