What you'll do:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technology Professional to join our team and provide technical expertise for our Treasury and Liquidity Risk Management applications. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our QRM software as well as other applications and tools used by treasury organization, ensuring seamless integration with our existing technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist with a practical data engineering mindset, is outcome-focused, and fosters teamwork.

What we are looking for:

  • System Development: Design, code, and test enhancements to the QRM and other systems to meet the bank's treasury risk management requirements.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QRM with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate risk assessments.
  • Data Management: Oversee the collection, validation, and integration of relevant financial data into the QRM system to support risk analytics.
  • Risk Analytics: Develop and maintain risk analytics models, stress testing scenarios, and simulations to assess and manage the bank's treasury risks effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure systems and processes comply with evolving financial regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and address technical issues, system bugs, and performance bottlenecks in QRM platforms promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
  • User Support and Training: Provide user support, conduct training sessions, and develop user-friendly guides to empower employees in effectively utilizing QRM and other applications.
  • Optimization Continuously assess and optimize QRM system performance, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with risk management, finance, and other business teams to align technology solutions with business objectives and enhance overall treasury management capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of development and/or implementation experience for enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in managing and supporting treasury, finance, accounting, or risk platforms.
  • Strong background in financial modeling, risk management, and programming languages.
  • Deep understanding of treasury management practices and regulations is crucial.
  • Familiarity with IT security, data privacy, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Confluence, ServiceNow and other tools
  • Customization experience of QRM software to align with the bank's specific treasury risk policies, market conditions, and regulatory guidelines
  • Experience with implementation and validation of financial models within the QRM framework, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge of ETL concepts and large volume data handling between systems
  • Knowledge of mathematical calculations to summarize and aggregate large volumes of data
  • Working knowledge of BI / Reporting Tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy)
  • Banking, financial services or other highly regulated industry experience
