The Fin Solutions Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:
  • Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
  • Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
  • Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes
  • Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
  • Manages implementation of procedures and development of analyses and report.
  • Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic knowledge of related industry practices.
  • Delivering of routine and defined outputs.
  • Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Proficient knowledge of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the goals of the area.
  • Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Job Description: The Fin Solutions Analyst is responsible for right placing the Controllers Process from non-strategic locations to strategic location within the Controllers organization. Requires in-depth knowledge on the different phases involved in the Project Management, Migration/Transition life cycle and the corresponding deliverables for each of the phases. Good communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular senior stakeholders in the Controllers organization. Responsible for executing the Migration projects within the scheduled timeline with good quality of work. Also collaborates with the Risk & Control partners to ensure that the receive side is compliant from all the Risk & Control aspects (MCA, COB, EUC, SOP, Record Transfer, etc).

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent understanding of end-to-end Citi processes, Controllers processes, policies, regulations, and governance. Supports planning and coordination of day-to-day activities for executing Migration projects.

• Ensures all stakeholders are identified and their corresponding roles & responsibilities are defined before the initiation of the project.

• Collaborates closely with the Send side & Receive side Controllers Organization to handhold them throughout the life cycle of the Migration.

• Prepares project plan with all the key Milestones, Tasks & Action Items, to meet the overall project goals & objectives.

• Communicates the progress of the Migration project to all stakeholders, highlighting the key risks & issue and their Remediation plans, on a regular basis.  

• Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a Migration Projects

• Assists in the creation & sign off of the Transition Services Agreement between the Send side & Receive side stakeholders, with the overall project objective, scope & benefits.

• Escalates Migration related risks/issues to stakeholders and Senior Leadership Team, when appropriate.

• Appropriately assess risk when there is a change in the Project scope, schedule, cost and highlight the corresponding mitigation factors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in areas related to Finance - Industrial Engineering
  • Advanced English level
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience related to Project Management, Migrations / Transitions experience
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills - advanced skills required.
  • Strong work ethic; excellent use of discretion and judgment.
  • Adept at running virtual meetings with global stakeholders.
  • Has to be innovative, creative and flexible.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills and ability to set priorities and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in virtual team.
  • Good negotiation and troubleshooting skills.
