The Financial Crimes (FC) Domain brings together key capabilities to disrupt financial crime & deliver on our regulatory obligations to protect our customers and community.
The Financial Crime Reporting and Insights crew is focused at creating and enhancing products to support the Group to meet its cash and international regulatory reporting obligations for Financial Crime. This crew is at the forefront of adopting modern technology and harnessing the power of data to simplify and accurately meet its reporting obligations.

Reporting directly to the Crew Lead, this role is responsible for leading a high performing squad who are innovating, developing and delivering assured data and controls for Financial Crime monitoring processes. This Product Owner role will work with crews/squads across the Group that are working towards Enterprise Transformation Program across key applications.
You will play a critical role in shaping data architecture, e2e development, enhancing controls, driving reporting simplification and maintaining ownership of the end-to-end product systems and processes, whilst also being responsible for ensuring changes are safely executed and risk outcomes are met.
Key responsibilities will include
Standardise and scale the production of efficient, re-usable data products. Providing critical business context for Data Products to ensure they meet the needs of Value Streams
Ensuring all Data Products adhere to Fin crime Data Office guidelines on scoring thresholds, risk controls, and the Delivery Playbook, and meet standards around data management, design, and metadata
Strengthen producer-consumer data relationships across BUs/SUs and act as your Domains' conduit for Data Product Management
Promote data skills development and foster strong collaboration across teams
Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning in data within your Domain
Provide thought leadership across Data, AI, and Analytics, mentoring Data Product professionals in your Domain
Work with Fin crime Domain to implement and adhere to group’s Data Management Policy across your Domain
Manage the impact of Enterprise Transformation to existing Data Landscape and move towards Data products
Lead the Squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.
Manage the Squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.
We want to hear from you if you have
Proven experience leading enterprise-level data initiatives, with a core background in Data Engineering, Architecture and Data Delivery
Expertise in data governance, metadata management, data product focused mindset and business-aligned data strategy.
Experience in Data Cloud migration and exposure to AWS eco system would be desirable
Thought leadership in Data, AI, or Analytics with a drive to democratise data use
Advanced ability to drive multiple initiatives concurrently and execute on a roadmap of initiatives
Essential - Proven success in driving, developing multiple initiatives concurrently and executing a defined product strategic roadmap
Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of the business
Successful change agent with a strong bias to challenging the status quo and guiding your product team through changes
Proven problem-solving skills coupled with a strong ability be customer centric and think differently about strategies to grow the portfolio
Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to deal with competing priorities, upcoming due dates and prioritisation decisions when required
Ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions
