As a Job Lead QA Engineer reporting to QA Director, you’ll play a meaningful role in quality authority for Trading. Ensure the successful deployment, integration, and performance validation of enterprise software in customer environments. Your responsibilities include supporting onboarding activities, conducting system integration and non‑functional testing, and serving as a subject‑matter expert in performance engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate sophisticated technical scenarios, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions that balance speed, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop high‑quality code and contribute to automation or tooling using one or more programming languages.
  • Manage and fix Linux-based systems, including shell scripting, networking fundamentals, performance optimization, and hardware/server operations.
  • Design, complete, and improve non-functional testing and maintain scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD and tools like qTest, Jira, and AWS.
  • Lead and influence multi-functional teams, mentor peers, and drive large-scale quality initiatives while fostering strong collaboration and supporting Nasdaq’s culture and values.

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Helm, Kubernetes (K8s), and GitLab.
  • Relevant professional experience in a similar technical role.
  • Curiosity and interest in capital markets and financial technology.

This position will be located in Stockholm and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
