JOB SUMMARY

The Correspondence Coordinator will be responsible for preparing and sending correspondence, documents, and other records via mail, fax, and email. Ensures that a copy of that documentation is scanned into electronic medical record charts. Performs basic office duties, including faxing, photocopying, filing, incoming/outgoing mail arrangements. May be required to do additional tasks as needed.

  • Support our Field teams, Operations, and Sales by monitoring quality of documentation being prepped prior to submitting.
  • Critically problem-solve common trends and partner cross-functionally to recommend and implement preventative measures.
  • Proactively create a better patient experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sort and scan documents into patient electronic medical charts.
  • Review an assortment of outgoing letters and prepare for mailing.
  • Organize and sort incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist in office supply inventory orders.
  • May perform research and prep legal/medical record requests.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year related experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
