Hypertherm Associates seeks an Accountant to join our diverse, global team.

Essential responsibilities of this role include:

  • Prepare

    • General ledger reconciliations of high & low risk accounts

    • Required journal entries in conjunction with meeting monthly close deadlines

    • Work papers in support of the company’s external and internal audits

  • Develop documentation for relevant business processes

  • Provide education to associates on related processes

Who you are and the experience you will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3-5 years of relevant public/private accounting experience

  • Professional confidence – must be comfortable challenging things that “just do not look right”

  • Ability to articulate knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles with the ability to analyze general ledger transactions for proper financial reporting

  • Motivated to interpret, analyze, investigate, and resolve accounting issues

  • Committed to continuous process improvements including documentation, testing, and improvement of financial processes and controls

  • Proficient in Excel

Preferred experience that differentiates you:

  • CPA

  • Experience with Oracle

Location: Hanover, NH (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/2 remote)

This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.

Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
