Discover is looking for a talented Email Production Specialist to help the E-Business department effectively produce and distribute email marketing messages for our Campaign Owners. You will work closely with multiple departments to build out email campaigns and journeys, assist in reporting, and trouble-shoot any problems that come up. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the email production process in a collaborative environment, and work with other departments and outside vendors to make our email program as effective and engaging as possible.
Responsible for the planning and delivery of digital content and the maintenance of web sites, domains, and mobile channels. Supports product launches, content optimization, and the testing of creative. Partners with technology, marketing, and design agencies to define and develop on-going requirements for presentation templates, style-sheets, and content. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Responsibilities
Analyzes digital platform functionality gaps and under-utilized capabilities.
Leads cross-functional work-streams to drive process improvements and enhancements. Leads campaign reform efforts which include the evaluation and development of solutions to increase speed to market for digital channels.
Assigns, creates, approves, publishes, and manages digital content. Supports digital content improvements and ongoing projects to maximize the speed to market.
Analyzes digital platform functionality gaps and under-utilized capabilities.
Manages digital asset libraries, domains, search engine optimization, and content metadata creation. Manages vendors to develop, migrate, and integration platforms.
Reports on email and mobile communication performance. Implements new technologies to drive future capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration and Management, Information Technology or related.
2+ years of experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Technology, Project Management, Marketing Operations, Communications, Digital Communications, Digital
Content Publishing, Web Development and Design, or related experience.
In Lieu of Degree, 8+ years of experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Technology, Project Management, Marketing Operations, Communications, Digital Communications, Digital
Content Publishing, Web Development and Design, or related experience
Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience managing email campaigns, journeys, and automation.

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
