About this Job

The Individual Investors Client Experience team is seeking a Sr Product Owner to provide product vision and strategic direction for initiatives related to Identity Management across Global Distribution, balancing experience with risk. This includes ensuring clients, participants and advisors can easily and securely authenticate with ID integration optimized across journeys. As an owner of a critical shared capability across the enterprise, additional shared services that support email, text and aggregation are aligned to this role.  The SPO is the core partner for risk and compliance for Individual Investors and oversees an agile delivery team.

This role will lead complex product road maps inside and across business units and ensure alignment with business strategy. You will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of commercial judgment, negotiate regularly with management and business stakeholders, and provide insights and recommendations on the strategic priorities for Global Distribution. Finally, you'll be expected to communicate metrics, milestones, and/or status to stakeholders of various business units. An agile Product Owner reports to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy Development —Develops and maintains a clear vision for the product family or enterprise product, including technology, competitive, and internal strategic perspectives. Establishes road map for assigned product(s). Contributes to the technical direction and conducts relevant research to inform enablement strategies. Leverages quantitative and qualitative research to establish and communicate the product and product family vision as well as the overall design and delivery strategy.

  • Achieves Business Results —Oversees a cross-functional team, which could include marketing, technology, and design associates. Ensures products meet and/or exceed standards for business performance, client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency by closely monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting the metrics to assess the performance of products against key performance indicators (such as sales, new accounts, lead and referral generation, etc.). Develops and implements strategies and tactics to meet the desired business objectives for assigned product.

  • Coaching and Mentoring —Supports leadership team in the onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of product analysts. Recognizes associates as appropriate and, at times, may provide constructive feedback in support of individual development goals.  May also coach a cross-functional Agile team if serving in a product owner capacity.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience

 Preferred:

  • Experience with a highly regulated industry and/or financial services  
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO and/or A-CSPO)
  • Experience with the Adobe Experience Cloud platform 
  • Experience with ID Management - ability to connect integration points across client journeys. 
  • Strategic thinker with delivery excellence
  • Ability to work with varying business units to negotiate and determine priorities
  • Familiarity with Security Practices as it relates to Identity and Risk Management
  • Comfortable with technology and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with Login, ID Proofing, passkeys, Risk-Based Authentication concepts
  • Experience with Agile delivery and frameworks

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

Regional Requirements:

Base salary range:

$116,500 - $199,000USD

For the location of:

Colorado

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
