Job Description:

Essential Job Functions

  • Customer facing D365 and ideally D365 CE consultant and presales expert.
  • Work with the sales team to identify, qualify, research and validate opportunities.
  • Assisting with RFP responses, development of tailored Solution Maps and other related documents
  • Prepare and perform D365 F&O and ideally D365 CE product demonstrations to business and technical audiences.
  • Providing technical and functional direction and input during the sales cycle Analyzing customer business needs
  • Drive key customer meetings and workshops to achieve the outcomes within the deadline.
  • Consults on governance, strategy, and transformation not just operations.
  • Identify and design solutions that meet the customers’ requirements.
  • Provide estimates for project delivery.
  • Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) & Master Services Agreements (MSA)
  • Assist in developing project delivery plans. 
  • Build ongoing relationship with customer prospects.
  • Assist in refining implementation methodologies and strategies.
  • Assist in making sure the D365 practice financial targets are met. 
  • Train and mentor other team members
  • Stay up to date on Microsoft environment changes and cascade to team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in applicable area of Finance in Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 F&O (or similar ERP) in the areas of GL, AR, AP, Banking, Costing, Pricing, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, Budgeting, Expense Management, HR, Management Reporter, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of Project Accounting in D365 F&O
  • A Major Plus is having 3-5+ years’ experience in applicable area of Dynamics 365 CE (or similar CRM) in the areas of Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Automation and Customer Insights
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale and Distribution is a plus.
  • Strong Finance background required.
  • Strong understanding of business process and best practices
  • Analytical mindset
  • Advanced problem-solving skills in Finance & ideally Sales
  • Ability to quickly connect with and gain client’s confidence.
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or equivalent 
  • Must have 5 years’ experience presenting demonstrations.
  • Applicable Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 and ideally D365 CE certifications, a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. PowerApps), a plus
  • Experience as a consultant in a consulting practice, facilitating discovery workshops.
  • Excellence communication skills
  • Experience creating strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions.
  • Experience gathering business requirements (to be model, as is model, etc.).
  • Has assisted in definition and functional design of conversions and interfaces and functional experience in API usage, integration development.
  • Proven capability solutioning, estimating and implementing in mid to large complex solutions. 
  • Proven skills as team lead of presales and technical resources to respond to client opportunities.
  • Presales experience on Dynamics 365 coupled with industry leading 3rd party ISV solutions is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office (O365) products

Work Environment

  • Remote
  • Will require travel to customer and prospective customer sites
  • May require evening or weekend work

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.
