The Regulatory Risk & Compliance Associate will support the Regulatory risk & Compliance team by conducting due diligence searches, supporting operations, and serving as a liaison between engagement teams, internal stakeholders and third-party vendors. This role involves providing guidance on firm policies, participating in user acceptance testing, and supporting other ongoing projects. This individual will be expected to work both individually and collaboratively in a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Due Diligence Searches
Timely processes all due diligence searches, including initiating orders with vendor and providing results to engagement teams
Serves as liaison between engagement teams and third-party vendor
Provide guidance to engagement teams, including application of firm policy
Triage consultations for escalation when needed while providing research and proposed solutions to scenario
Evaluate and summarize issues, inclusive of proposed solutions, to Regulatory Risk & Compliance Director
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts for implementation of new tools and/or processes
Identify and recommend process improvement and efficiency opportunities
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business related area or equivalent experience
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, in writing to diverse audiences across the firm and to outside professional contacts
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including familiarity with SharePoint as a document repository(required)
Effective organization and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend process improvement and efficiency
Ability to develop and maintain applicable professional and internal contacts, resources and networks
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with respect to internal information
EXPERIENCE
2-3 years relevant experience
Professional services firm experience

Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills for multiple and/or complex projects

Able to adapt quickly to changes in regulatory environment, industry and the firm
