The Role

• Victoria Vets are looking for an RVN to join our fun, friendly team at our Peak District practices.
• The role is full time (40hours per week), based mainly at our main practice in Glossop but with occasional shifts at our clinic site in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
• Range of shifts, between 8am and 7pm covering inpatient care, nurse clinics and theatre duties
• Our facilities include 4 consultation rooms (including a designated nurse consulting room), separate dog / cat and isolation wards and in-house laboratory.
• Our nursing team currently consists of 10 RVNs, 1 SVN and 1 PCA.
• We are looking for a nurse who is keen to work to their full potential, and bring a positive energy to our fabulous team.
• We offer ultrasound, endoscopy and digital xray, including dental xray
• Our nurses are valued and guided to work to the best of their potential and fully utilise their skills. Schedule 3 encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering a high quality of patient care.
• Undertake all general nursing duties within the practice, utilising your nursing skills to maximise provision of nursing care
• Ensure accurate clinical record keeping.
• Uphold the premises and patient areas to a high a high clinical standard.
• Engage with and deliver high-quality patient care initiatives.
• Communicate with clients on high quality health care for their pets
• Participate in relevant continual professional development (CPD) and communicate your learned knowledge with your team.
