We are excited to announce this opportunity to join Aviva’s Finance team. This role—sitting at the intersection of financial and management accounting—offers exposure to senior stakeholders, the chance to develop strong analytical and financial skills.

The successful candidate will apply professional judgment in accounting and reporting, prepare and present materials to various stakeholders, and contribute to improving end-to-end financial reporting processes. The role requires close collaboration with finance teams and business units to deliver high‑quality reporting and support end‑to‑end financial reporting.

This role uniquely integrates the disciplines of management accounting and financial accounting, offering a strong and strategically valuable foundation for continued professional development.

With its central position in the organization, this role provides great visibility and the opportunity to build a broad network across multiple teams.

What will you be doing?

  • Contribute to budget planning cycles by preparing, validating, and consolidating key inputs.

  • Supporting the timely delivery of Financial Results.

  • Oversee resource management and ensure accurate allocation of Poland-based resources across projects.

  • Maintain visibility and accuracy of resource data, supporting effective workforce planning.

  • Monitor and support financial processes related to recharge mechanisms and cost allocation.

  • Provide regular budget insights and support analysis for both operational and change-related activities.

  • Track the impact of change initiatives on financial performance throughout the year.

What we’re looking for?

  • University degree preferred in economics, finance & accounting or similar.

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in reporting, financial analysis, controlling, or budget planning.

  • Very good English language skills (working with English-speaking stakeholders on a daily basis).

  • Presentation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive approach, ability to challenge status quo.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work confidently with detailed data sets.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with managers and project teams.

  • Familiarity with resource or financial planning tools (e.g., Planview) is an advantage.

  • High attention to detail, responsibility, and commitment to data accuracy.
