Logistics Supervisor – Casa Grande, AZ - 2nd Shift

Abbott Nutrition is seeking an Experienced Logistics Supervisor to supervise activities within a distribution center/warehouse or supervises a local warehouse where the scope may be smaller than a centralized distribution center.   

• Manages a team of non-exempt employees to accomplish some or all of the following:
• shipping, receiving, inventory control and final packaging for finished goods.

What You’ll Work On

• Manager the implementation of approved processes and system changes geared toward improving productivity, reducing expenses and improving margins.
• Schedule staff to cover site business needs which may include any or all of the following warehouse activities; shipping, receiving, inventory management and/or final packaging.
• Apply continuous improvement tools to identify and eliminate the root causes of issues that may arise withing the Warehouse which may include managing corrective action.
• Provide leadership, assign goals, manage team to execute goals through coaching and mentoring.
• Develop and review various reports and trends.
• Audit data to ensure accuracy
• Control inventory

 You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, supervisory skills
• 2 - 3 years of warehousing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred  
• SAP, warehousing management system
• Good communication and leadership skills

The base pay for this position is

$64,000.00 – $128,000.00
