Who we are looking for

The Enterprise Resiliency Office (ERO) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst that will help strengthen State Street’s Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) and Resiliency capabilities. The Business Analyst should be capable of collaborating across Business and IT teams to analyze, design and implement enhancements to our operating model while also leading the execution of data maintenance processes that are foundational to our RRP and Resiliency programs. The Business Analyst requires advanced data and business analysis skills, a drive for improving processes and strong leadership capabilities that can be leveraged to develop solutions and execute activities that support the organization’s strategic initiatives.

What you will be responsible for

As a Business Analyst in ERO you will:

  • Enhance State Street’s Operational RRP and Resiliency capabilities by supporting projects focused on strategically aligning and integrating core capabilities, processes, data, and technology across programs

  • Work closely with the RRP Office and Functional Area Leads to execute processes and controls supporting the Shared Services and Management Information Systems (MIS) RRP capabilities

  • Perform complex data analysis to support ongoing RRP and Resiliency initiatives, synthesizing and interpreting information to drive decisions

  • Collaborate with IT partners and business stakeholders to implement enhancements across our RRP and Resiliency platforms to comply with regulatory requirements and business objectives

  • Present project statuses, data issues and program updates to RRP Functional Area Leads and Business Continuity Directors during working group meetings

  • Assist in designing solutions for current and future state operating models by creating process diagrams, requirements documentation and procedures

  • Participate in business testing for changes to ERO and RRP managed systems

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives across the department

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

  • 5+ years of business analysis and/or project management related work experience in the financial services industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SQL

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
