As an Outbound BDR, you are the frontline of our growth. You will proactively identify and engage potential customers, sparking interest in our simple, powerful, and secure solutions while acting with empathy and accountability.

  • Strategic Prospecting: Execute outbound activities utilizing automation, AI and other advanced prospecting tactics to generate new opportunities and create interest in SolarWinds products for both new and existing customers.
  • Lead Qualification: Research and qualify prospects/accounts to ensure they meet technical and business requirements before handing them over to Sales Representatives.
  • Effective Communication: Understand customer pain points and effectively communicate the SolarWinds value proposition via phone and email.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct high-impact, 5-minute "first-touch" online product demonstrations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  •  Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and submit weekly/monthly "pipe create" commits to ensure a smooth handover to the Berlin-based sales team.

 

Your Experience & Skills

  • Proven Track Record: 1–2 years of experience in lead qualification, sales, or as an SDR.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: An enthusiastic approach to creating interest in prospects and a passion for learning about SolarWinds products.
  • Tech Literacy: Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM tools) and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange).
  • Interpersonal Excellence: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide market feedback on customer needs.
