Open Position: Worker's Comp Telephonic Nurse Case Manager – remote work within the continental US. Full-time position, standard work hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30a-5p (37.5 hours per week), this will change based on business needs. Includes paid holidays and competitive benefits.

Your job as a Telephonic Case Manager is central to building trust and rapport with all claim stakeholders to achieve great outcomes.

As a Telephonic Case Manager:
You will identify care needs and plan of action by establishing rapport with adjusters, providers, injured workers and other stakeholders to assess care requirements and guideline benchmarks.
You will promote recovery by establishing clear and measurable goals with claim stakeholders; partnering with the claims payer to support their claim goals, educating the injured worker, the family or caregiver, and communicating with treating providers about treatment plan, Return-to-Work benchmarks, biopsychosocial concerns, etc., so that timely and informed decisions can be made.
You will provide quality services by adhering to best practice standards; measuring health outcomes against client care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following case management philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, and other governing agency regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Clear, active RN license (CA, Compact State preferred) 5+ years’ experience in worker's comp case management or related field Able to think critically and strategically to accomplish case goals Assertive and proactive in approach and communications Maintains confidence and tact in difficult discussions and collaborations to achieve positive outcomes Possesses strong organizational, task prioritization, and delegation skills Demonstrates technical proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software Ability to construct grammatically correct reports using standard medical terminology Ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse 6-8 hours per day Dedicated home office area to maintain privacy with access to high-speed internet and strong cell phone coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
Holds CCM certification or is willing to obtain certification within 2 years of hire Bilingual - Spanish speaking
