Overview:
This position will work in a client‐focused, team‐centered environment assisting the advisory team in servicing the needs of our clients. You must be organized, have outstanding attention to detail, excellent computer proficiency, and great communication skills. As a Cashiering Specialist, your deep understanding of firm policies, procedures, and technology, enables you to support advisors in their daily business practices. From maintaining back‐office efficiencies to driving firm initiatives, you work to ensure the client experience is second to none.

Responsibilities 

  • Review and approve all money movement on behalf of clients as directed by advisors per Current Policies and Procedures  

  • Review, reconcile, and verify client money movement transactions  

  • Liaise with custodians to resolve issues that could result in delayed money movement  

  • Release approved wire/check/journal/ETF at custodian  

  • Manage and reconcile client deposits  

  • Prepare daily reports to identify transactions that require coding and coordinate with team to ensure all transactions are coded correctly  

  • Obtain information from custodians on any uncashed checks monthly and prepare report to advisors  

  • Support / fulfill other client support duties, quarterly reports, and special projects as needed  

  • Train client success team regarding policies and procedures around money movements  

  • Complete all tasks in Salesforce in an accurate and timely manner  

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree OR Equivalent Experience 

  • Preferred experience with Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite (competency or ability to learn quickly)  

  • Experience with custodian interaction required – knowledge of custodians' processes and procedures   

  • Customer service background preferred  

  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills  

  • Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requests  

  • Able to work independently   

  • Enjoy being part of a team  

  • Must be highly flexible and confidential with all client and firm matters

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
