Role Definition

This position will serve as a site buyer for Cab facility at CCMC and deliver excellence and integration between procurement and the team supporting facility.

Key Job Duties

Velocity

•           Ensure on-time supplier shipments and develop contingency plans for critical supply risks

•           Conduct root cause analysis of supplier commercial issues and follow up on permanent corrective actions (PCA)

•           Lead supplier resiliency initiatives, including optimization of supply chain response time, lead time, and minimum order quantity (MOQ)

Cost

•           Perform data analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities

•           Organize and lead cost-down workshops with cross-functional teams

•           Drive and support localization, dual sourcing, and VAVE projects

•           Manage supplier tooling and implement packaging optimization projects

•           Handle supplier payment disputes to ensure smooth processes

Supplier Management

•           Foster collaboration and maintain strong supplier relationships

•           Manage purchasing data and monitor supplier commercial performance

•           Oversee purchase order (PO) and supplier contact management

•           Prepare KPI reports and implement improvement actions

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field

• Preferred background in mechanical manufacturing, automotive, or related industries

• Proficiency in SAP for procurement operations

• Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

• Data analysis capability, with preference for candidates experienced in tools such as Power BI

• High resilience under pressure, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Additional information

• The position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
